Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of Sonento. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sonento.

You must be at least 13, and at least the minimum age required by your country to consent to an online service. If you are not old enough to agree yourself, a parent or legal guardian must agree for you.

2. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep access to your email and device secure, and notify support@sonento.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

3. The Sonento service and AI output

Sonento uses automated and AI-assisted systems to create lyrics, music, artwork, and video elements. Output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to material produced for others. You must review generated material before relying on or sharing it.

We may improve, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. Generation capacity, supported providers, quality, timing, and availability are not guaranteed.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in stories, instructions, photos, edits, and other material you submit. You grant Sonento and its service providers a limited, worldwide license to host, reproduce, transform, and process that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the requested service and to create or deliver your gifts.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you submit, including personal information and photos of other people. Do not upload private, confidential, copyrighted, or otherwise protected material without authorization.

5. Generated content and intellectual property

Subject to applicable law, provider terms, and these Terms, you may use and share the generated output delivered to you. Laws regarding ownership of AI-generated material vary, and Sonento cannot guarantee that output is copyrightable, unique, or free from third-party claims.

Do not request or present output as an imitation of a specific living artist, performer, band, copyrighted recording, or protected brand. Sonento may block prompts or remove content that appears infringing or unsafe.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Sonento to break the law; harass, threaten, exploit, or impersonate someone; create sexual content involving minors; publish another person’s sensitive information; generate hateful or violent abuse; distribute malware or spam; evade safety controls; scrape or reverse engineer the service; interfere with systems; or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

We may investigate, limit sharing, remove content, suspend generation, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service.

7. Shared gifts and reports

You control whether to share a gift link or exported file and are responsible for the audience you choose. A recipient may save or reshare what you publish. Report illegal, infringing, abusive, or privacy-invasive content to support@sonento.app with the gift link and a description of the issue.

8. Subscriptions, renewals, cancellation, and refunds

The purchase screen shows the product, price, billing period or one-time status, included features, and any trial before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation. Recurring subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless canceled before renewal in your store account settings; a Lifetime purchase does not renew automatically.

You can manage or cancel recurring purchases through Apple or Google subscription settings. Deleting Sonento or deleting your Sonento account does not itself cancel an app-store subscription. Restore Purchases can restore an eligible entitlement. Refund requests are handled under the applicable store’s rules and mandatory consumer law.

9. Account deletion and termination

You may delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, legal requirements, security risks, or nonpayment. Terms that by their nature should survive—such as rights already granted for delivery, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limits of liability—continue after termination.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Sonento is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that generated content will meet every expectation. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonento is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service or shared output.

11. App-store terms

Apple and Google are not responsible for operating or supporting Sonento. Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s applicable Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and your use of the Android app is subject to Google Play’s applicable terms. Store terms control purchases and refunds where they apply.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If a material change takes effect, continued use after the effective date means you accept it where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to support@sonento.app.
