Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Sonento account from inside the app. This page explains the steps, what is removed, and what to do if you cannot sign in.
Delete from the Sonento app
- Open Sonento and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile.
- Select Privacy & data.
- Select Delete my account and confirm the permanent deletion.
Deleting your Sonento account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription in your store account settings before deleting if you do not want it to renew.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@sonento.app from the email address connected to your Sonento account and request account deletion. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting.
Information removed
Deletion removes your authentication account, profile, projects, story answers, lyrics versions, stored song files, hosted video gifts, push tokens, and public gift pages associated with the account.
Limited information that may remain
App stores and payment processors retain purchase records under their own policies. Sonento may retain limited transaction, fraud-prevention, security, legal, or backup records when required by law or legitimate operational needs. Backup copies expire under the normal backup cycle and are not used to restore a deleted account.
